Boasting four galleries including the Miikanan Gallery for indigenous artists and the Harlow | Kleven Gallery where Bemidji State displays work from their teaching collections, Watermark Art Center provides a welcoming space for rotating exhibits, cultural activities, art classes and workshops. Watermark supports events out in the community such as Poetry and Story SLAMS, Indigenous Winter Games and every third weekend in July they host the highly attended "Watermark Art Festival" in Downtown Bemidji.
Their gift gallery, SHOP 505, carries original fine art created by regional artists including jewelry, photography, paintings, prints, ceramics, glass, textiles, Indigenous items, sculptures and more. Watermark is free and open to the public.
