About

It’s time to get that hearth beautified for the holidays! This basket is my version of a traditional design. Fill it with gourds, greenery, or gifts!
With an open weave base and stepped rattan sides, this basket weaves up fairly quickly. The test is in the diagonal rim, and using the 10″ square hoop. Instructor will provide all tools and materials needed. Sample basket is 18” across, 10”deep, and 10” high.

Basketmaking requires finger and hand dexterity, bring your glasses or readers.
Class is on Saturday, 11/16, at our studio in Bemidji. Registration closes on 11/10/24.

This basket is scheduled for 10am-4pm. We will take a 1/2 lunch break. Water, coffee/tea and snacks will be provided.
