About

A cobweb style broom is a broom with a short wooden handle and long thin broomcorn stalks. The thin light weight style makes it perfect for reaching those high corners and cobwebs… or flying off into the night.

The handles we will be using will be natural, bark-on sticks. Broom making is a full body activity! Hold your string spindle with your feet while wrapping your broomcorn with your hands. As the broom corn is soaked before weaving, you will be a bit wet by the time you finish. Aprons and towels will be provided.

Hand strength, as well as hand and foot dexterity required. Ages 14+

Minimum 4 participants, Max 8. Please contact us to schedule private groups.
