Closing Repception Young Artists “Ojibwe by Design”

The public is invited to the closing reception that will also be held at the Wild Hare on August 16 from 5 to 6:30. Get down to the Wild Hare in Bemidji and take look at what these young artists created during the “Ojibwe by Design” Workshop held three days in June. The public is invited to the closing reception that will also be held at the Wild Hare on August 16 from 5 to 6:30.
Exhibiting artist and middle school teacher, Sarah McRae (Red Lake Band of Ojibwe), taught students design principles, indigenous art history, technical skills and encouraged them to focus on “filling space with intention”. The workshop was made possible with support from the Blandin Foundation and the McKnight Foundation.
