Celebrate Star Wars Day at the Bemidji Public Library

Celebrate Star Wars Day all day long at the Bemidji Public Library on Saturday, May 3^rd, 2025. We will have crafts (like make your own lightsaber!), games, and costume contests (or just wear a costume anyway for fun), as well as a very special appearance between 12 PM – 2 PM by the 501st Legion cosplayers. The 501st Legion is an international costuming organization dedicated to celebrating Star Wars; they will be posing for pictures, showing off their very impressive costumes, and answering your questions.

The Bemidji Public Library is committed to providing the community with valuable resources and services. The library is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It offers a wide range of services, including WIFI, fax, printing, copying, and a legal kiosk. All Bemidji Public Library programs and events are free and open to the public regardless of library membership status.
