About
The Beltrami County Historical Society, in partnership with Community Education and sponsored by Visit Bemidji, invites you to a Historical Holiday Light Tour. This festive event will guide you through Bemidji’s most beautifully decorated homes while uncovering fascinating neighborhood histories shared by local author and historian Cecelia McKeig.
The tour will be held on Monday, December 2, and Monday, December 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., allowing you to choose the night that works best for you. As you tour Bemidji’s twinkling holiday lights, you’ll hear historical tidbits about the area, adding a unique twist to the usual holiday light experience.
The tour begins and ends at the Beltrami County History Center, located at 130 Minnesota Ave SW, in downtown Bemidji. After the tour, guests can warm up with a cozy cup of hot cocoa at the History Center.
Whether new to the area or a longtime resident, this tour is a perfect way to immerse yourself in Bemidji’s holiday spirit and learn about the history that makes the community unique. Visit Bemidji has partnered to ensure all you need to do is relax and enjoy the lights—Bemidji Bus Lines will handle the driving!
