9:00 a.m.   Depart Winnipeg Hwy 75 to US Hwy 2

1:30 p.m.  Depart for Bemidji area
2:30 p.m. Option 1:  Buena Vista Logging Village - Ride to the "Top of the World" (Continental Divide) by horse-drawn covered wagon.  A unique and authentic experience.  Refreshments available.  Contact:
Option 2:  Headwaters Science Center offers popular presentations - several to choose - as well as the exhibit floor.  Contact:  
Option 3:  Free time downtown Bemidji.  Stroll the downtown area enhanced with sculptures and murals.  Shop quaint shops and stop for a coffee break at one of several cozy coffee shops.
4:30 p.m Head to lodging - check in and refresh
5:30 p.m. Dinner 
Option 1:  Bemidji Town and Country Club, overlooks Lake Bemidji
Option 2;  "Something for Everyone', downtown dinner on your own.
7:00 p.m. Entertainment
Option 1:  Paul Bunyan Playhouse - Live theater productions June - August. Located in downtown Bemidji.  Walking distance from downtown dining.
Option 2:  Native American Flute - Performance and narrative on history of flute.
Option 3:  Classical accordian, guitar and violin trio.
Option 4:  "Hickory Wind Trio" - Performance by Folk Grass Group.
8:30-10 pm Return to lodging 
Day Two
8:00 am Photo stop with Paul & Babe
8:30 am Depart for Itasca State Park via the Great River Road
9:15 am Arrive at Itasca State Park
Option 1:  Stop at Headwater of Mississippi River - Step Across!  Take a narrated boat cruise on Lake Itasca
Option 2:  Stop at the state-of-the-art Visitors Center.  Step-on naturalist tour through the park on Wilderness Drive and to the Headwaters.
